Shanker

This is a delightful hotel. Being a former palace, it's as elegant as you would expect. The beds are comfortable, the breakfast is varied and plentiful, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the swimming pool is excellent (the water was cold the first time I stayed there, in March, but warmer when I returned in April).

I wanted a hotel with a pool and grounds and this fits the bill perfectly. It’s a bit quirky and doesn’t feel like a hotel chain. Staff delightful and great pool bar.

It was an old building but you woud stay like a governor as it used to be. In fact, it was renovated but dont compare with modern hotel. The building worths exploring and you could also enjoy the relaxing environment there. The breakfast was very good and one must try if staying
