Kathmandu Friendly Home

The hotel is very old. my room was very dirty, sheets has not been changed, the toilet was very very dirty especially the WC it was very terrible and disgusting. there is a small window between my bathroom and other room bathroom I could hear all noise comes from that room. the table between the beds it was also dirty with gravy. the wardrobe old and dirty without any hanger. the wals of the room very dirty with many spilt stains on it. Air-conditioning filters it was also very very dirty, I have cleaned it by myself. the lock of the door it looks like prison looks and it makes noise when I lock it or open it. This old building has no elevator. The young man who sits on the coffee shop in the lobby are, he speaks without respect, I have asked him some information about the area and he spoke to me while his eyes on his mobile phone. location very good, everything in walking distance. there are many restaurants and shops around the hotel. The old man at the reception he is very very nice and very friendly and helpful. My room has balcony with nice view to garden.

Disgusting place , disgusting slimy owners. Tried to assault me and my dog and extorting me for 5000 rupees for a simple stain on a bedsheet. Horrible place avoid at all cost. Honestly the good was horrible too

We stayed in Kathmandu Friendly Home for some days. It's very atmospheric place with big lounge. There is also a restoran with tasty food and cheep price. Staff is very friendly and made us feel like at home. Thank you for comfortable staying!
