Only compliments for Sapana Lodge!
Spacious room, very comfortable and extremely clean. The gardens are lush, the setting is idyllic, and the pool area is incredible. All within an eco-responsible and local "associative-humanitarian" approach.
The restaurant is very pleasant and the food there is excellent.
The staff is smiling, attentive, and caring.
A special mention for our guide, Dinesh Giri, with whom we spent a day and a half focused on discovering the local community, the wildlife, and the flora through various unforgettable activities offered at Sapana Lodge. He is very passionate and knows how to share that.

Went for elephant bush walk. Fed those elephants and had a tasty snack with my uncle and aunt. The guide, Dinesh giri, is a phenomenal experience on his own. It was extremely humbling to be beside those huge beautiful gentle giants who let us pet them. They have been doing some exceptional work in preserving the elephant's rights to roam free and not have humans ride on their backs which deform their legs and backs. The grasslands are lush with bushes and grass that tower over 5.5-6ft in height and the elephants roam and graze on their own timing while we walk alongside them slowly and comfortablely. Their handlers love them like their own children. Will surely be back.
Truely recommend. 10/10 experience!

We had a great time during the bush walk with elephants tour! Our guide Dinesh Giri was very passionate and knowledgeable and he shared with us interesting facts about the local wildlife and the elephants.
We had the opportunity to feed the elephants, pet them and observe them in their natural habitat.
I highly recommend this experience, it is a must if you visit Chitwan!
