Sauraha Resort

Really good service and a perfect place to stay in Sauraha. The staff in really serviceminded and they will help you with anything you need. You will also stay in a quiet area in the middle of the village near to the river and the nationalpark.

A smallish establishment (compared to some of the larger facilities at Sauraha) that lies just off the main road. Sauraha Resort comprises of a number of buildings situated in a compound with lush, well-kept gardens that adds to the peaceful ambience. The rooms are a no-frills affair but more than adequate with nice clean beds and linen. Similarly, the bathrooms are simple but clean and the hot water system works well. The rooms are equipped with both fans and air conditioners and the internet works well. The stylish mosquito nets are an added bonus. The environment is and feels very safe. Breakfast is served in a little canteen style eatery and again, is more than adequate for the location and price. The friendly and helpful staff add to the joy of staying there. They are attentive to a fault and always there to serve, advise and more. In short, for the price, Sauraha Resort is highly recommended while visiting Chitwan and the surrounds.

A great place to stay to enjoy what Chitwan National Park has to offer. What made it special was the friendly and helpful manager who arranged our activities for the one day we had to explore the park.Not an easy job when everyone was enjoying the Dashain festival.Highly recommended.
