Positive • Very friendly and professional staff. • Large rooms and spacious bathrooms with sufficient shelf space. • Parking garage with direct access to the hotel. • Nice location by the lake, several good restaurants nearby. Negative • Air conditioning too weak on hot days, slow Wi-Fi, and no refrigerator. • Bathroom lighting insufficient for shaving. • The area seems uninviting due to a lot of concrete. • The breakfast is clearly too expensive at €20: limited selection and not convincing in terms of quality.

I had a very pleasant stay at Leonardo Hotel Almere City Center. The hotel is in an excellent location, right in the heart of Almere, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and public transport within easy walking distance. It was the perfect base for both relaxing and exploring the area. The room was spacious, modern, and very clean. There was plenty of space to relax, the bed was comfortable, and everything was well maintained. Housekeeping did an excellent job, and the room felt fresh and spotless throughout my stay. What really stood out was the friendliness of the staff. Everyone I met was welcoming, professional, and always happy to help with any questions or requests. Their hospitality made me feel genuinely welcome from check-in until departure. Overall, Leonardo Hotel Almere City Center offers excellent value for money with its spacious and clean rooms, outstanding location, and friendly service. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Almere, whether for business or leisure, and I look forward to staying here again in the future.

The hotel is not overly inviting from the outside due to bird crap showing all over the place due to its structural design. There is parking underneath the hotel at reasonable cost. Check inn staff were very friendly and the communal areas are in good condition with standard Leonardo reception ( snacks and drinks available). The bar and restaurant doesn’t open on a Monday but that’s fine as the main square is only a ten minute walk away so you can drink/eat there. Rooms are a good size, clean and with aircon. All in all it’s a typical budget hotel.
