HOTEL - RESTAURANT ERICA

Location: Unique for hiking enthusiasts, peace seekers, cyclists. Bus stop to Nijmegen CS practically on the doorstep. Facilities; Indoor pool is nice, restaurant is nice and spacious. Breakfast is fine but the breakfast presentation room is far too tight for the capacity and placement of necessities, as e.g. butter and spoons chosen very unhappily. And the butter is in a wooden container without cooling so that became a porridge. Food in the restaurant is okay on average. Staff and atmosphere; Everyone who was there tried very hard and was friendly, but with a little more staff there would be a little less stress we think. Atmosphere was fine and cozy. Room; We had a comfort room which the brochure says is 15m2. We thought that will be very tight but the room is in reality certainly 35m2 and that was a pleasant surprise. Fine spacious room and it was visibly recently updated. We had 1 good and 1 very bad mattress, the latter was completely covered and the springs just didn't stick out yet. Bathroom is neatly updated, very nice spacious walk-in shower with rain shower and hand shower, really very neat. Sink was also good, only there was nothing to put your things on. No shelf or something everything had to be in some kind of cabinet underneath which is not convenient. In-room coffee and tea making facilities include a kettle and some bags of tea and instant coffee. Toiletries included consists of a pump with some indefinable foam. Balcony is so small that no chair even fits and you are not allowed to smoke there. Air conditioning consists of a fan that you can use. Fridge is apparently much in demand for a comfort room in a 4**** Hotel. We are van der Valk fans and have now done Fletcher, conclusion; All right, but all just barely.

Very nice hotel, perfectly located. Greenery and tranquility. Well equipped. Very varied and high-quality breakfast. Very large room, with shower and bathroom. Very clean. Very pleasant and professional welcome. Professional and very kind staff. In the heart of a superb forested and green environment. We will return because we greatly appreciated this hotel for its charm.
