Perfect location, Calm rooms. staying in this hotel for last 5 years, Never had any problems

I stayed at this hotel during a business trip and, unfortunately, my experience did not justify the price of approximately €300 per night. While the location was reasonably convenient, the overall quality and service fell well below what I would expect from a hotel in this price range. The room itself was acceptable, but the bathroom drains emitted a terrible odor throughout my stay. The bathtub was exceptionally high, making it difficult to get in and out, and it was extremely slippery, creating a safety hazard, particularly for older or shorter guests. The hotel promotes its environmental policy by eliminating daily housekeeping. While I fully support reducing unnecessary towel and linen changes, I did not expect there to be no room service at all—not even making the bed or tidying the room. At nearly €300 per night, this felt less like a genuine sustainability initiative and more like a cost-cutting measure. The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection, but many items did not appear fresh. The fruit, in particular, was old, soggy, and unappetizing. The greatest disappointment, however, was the customer service. When I politely raised these concerns at checkout and requested a partial refund, the receptionist responded dismissively and stated that nothing could be done. After returning home, I discovered that my credit card had been charged twice for my stay. Nearly three weeks later, despite contacting the hotel, the duplicate charge has still not been refunded. I have now had to initiate a dispute through my credit card company to recover my money. Hotels can make mistakes, but how they respond is what defines good customer service. Unfortunately, this hotel failed on both counts. For the price charged, I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness, maintenance, service, and professionalism. Based on my experience, I would not stay here again.

Good location and convenient for my stay as near MCC. However, the hotel appears to have a number of long term residents who, during my stay, spent time gathering on the stairways and in the corridors with room doors open. While there were no issues, it did create an atmosphere that could feel uncomfortable, particularly for any solo female travellers. Overall, it's a budget type hotel that was perfectly adequate for a business trip, but I wouldn't choose it for a leisure break or a stay of several nights.
