★☆☆☆☆ Dramatic experience: broken plates, grease stains in clothes and sweltering hot We only came here for the restaurant. Reservations through the site could no longer be made and it took a lot of effort by phone, but once inside it turned out not to be busy at all. We even got to pick a spot. It is extremely dated, old and really in need of renewal. The food (chicken satay with fries) was fine in itself, but the execution a drama. The fries were not shaken off properly, so there was a pool of fat at the bottom of the basket. The wooden plate was completely split, so the fat seeped through the plate onto the table. I had to use the napkin to dry the table. The result: clothes full of grease stains that won't come out and can be thrown away. In addition, it was so hot inside. According to the website, there is air conditioning, but with the doors wide open, that of course has no effect. The sweat was on my forehead. The basics of the food are okay, but due to the poor condition of the crockery, the enormous heat and the damage to my clothes, we will never come back here. I've had a lousy birthday.

We normally stay at Fletcher Hotel Boschoord in Oisterwijk. But that has now been taken up by asylum seekers ...Boschoord is a beautiful location, amidst the Oisterwijk forests and fens. Fletcher Hotel 's Hertogenbosch can't match that, given its location on the noisy busy motorway. But Fletcher 'sHertogenbosch's accommodation itself is many times better than Boschoord's. Also the meals are A LOT better. The meals were perfect! Also handy that there was air conditioning in the room. But a big flaw: the mattress was worn to the wire. The mattress sagged deep towards the headboard, so we were not lying horizontally in our beds, but with our heads down! Result : reflux : gastric fluids flowed back into the esophagus. Everything else was perfect. Although of course I cannot judge the accommodations that are located on the street side, because we were fortunately along the side of Rosmalense plas. The staff is very friendly and helpful. However, a girl at the desk (in training) did not understand / understood enough Dutch and also answered incorrectly several times, probably because she had not understood the question correctly. But always with the smile. I wanted to come back again about the meals. We only had dinner 1x 'outside house' during our 3 night stay and... we complained about this. The chef at Fletcher Hotel 's Hertogenbosch really deserves a medal!

Great clean and quiet room with good beds. Good breakfast.
