Campanile Amsterdam Zuidoost

We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel. It is true that the rooms are not modern, but are clean, comfortable and, given the price and the perfect location (metro right at the door, with direct line to Central Station), perfectly exceeded our needs. The strength of this hotel is undoubtedly the team. Since the arrival we were received with genuine sympathy and care that is no longer seen in many places. Every day we were given suggestions about what to visit and even warned when it would snow, a small detail, but that shows special attention to the guests. At dinner, they prepared typical dishes and always with a lot of kindness. The most striking moment was when I mentioned that my son was years old. They promised to do something special and fulfilled it in a wonderful way: the chair was decorated with balloons and, at the end, brought a birthday cake with candles. It was a gesture that turned my son’s day into an unforgettable moment. Overall, this hotel stands out for hospitality, location and how it makes guests feel truly welcome. We will definitely be back!

Room is reasonable, even if you have to walk across a gallery. The bathroom ceiling was full of hair and some blood spatter. Food is really terrible... 'stew' with fries was a mountain of fries in a container with sauce and 3 minuscule pieces of meat. Guys behind the counter are friendly.

Quiet hotel, right next to the metro, 1/2h for the city center very convenient. You better leave your car in the parking lot. We were half board, varied and hearty breakfast, evening choice between 5 starters and 5 courses, very well cooked. Room quite large, however the mattress is to change, frankly stoned. Welcoming staff.
