Hotel De Gerstekorrel

Went with a group of friends. We booked two rooms, room for four and a room for 3. Rooms were clean, beds were so comfortable. Despite being in a busy street we didn’t have a problem with noise at night. The hotel is walking distance from the metro and tram. Lots of lovely cafes and restaurants just outside the door. Great base for all tourist attractions we didn’t lots. I would recommend taking a mirror as there was only one in the bathroom, not great for a group of ladies sharing! Staff were very helpful and approachable. They also will hold onto your luggage before and after check in/ check out so you can make the most of your time in Amsterdam.

Owner is a thief. Apt was under construction and owner said he emailed us to cancel but we didn’t Respond. He never emailed us and kept our money Do not stay here

An expensive very poor quality hostel. Stay in another hotel, their rooms are dirty. Furniture broken, poor quality breakfast, strange rules. Uncomfortable beds
