Parkview Hotel

Hotel near Museumplein, therefore strategically located for museum enthusiasts, where I stayed one night (in a double single use). The room was adequate size, quiet, good cleanliness and good quality sleep. Cost of stay about 115 EUR.

This hotel is situated beside Vondelpark. Either through the park (fastest) or via side streets, the museums and Leidseplein are within a 5 to 10 min walk making the location very convenient. Our room had a king size bed (full king - not two twins pushed together) which was really comfortable. There were a couple of chairs and floor to ceiling window on one wall. The bathroom was adequate with a strong shower and no shortage of hot water. The room was clean and was refreshed daily. There are croissants, pastries and apples with coffee available in the morning. This review would have been a 5 star but for two things: There are no amenities offered (shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer, etc) and the hair dryer didn't operate properly (it overheated and automatically shut down after 30 seconds, and required at least 5 minutes to reset). I would recommend the hotel and would stay here again (bring all your own toiletries and your own hairdryer).

Very good location. Nice room. Excellent free coffee/pastries/fruit and juice breakfast offered. Tea and coffee in room. Room very decent Doesn’t claim to be top ultra luxury hotel, but very good for its level.
