Sofitel Amsterdam The Grand

The room was fine, lots of room overlooking the canal. The bed was comfy. 3 pm still no housekeeping. . Breakfast buffet was plentiful plus the menu but really overpriced. Hotel Staff was helpful and competent . Concierge got us into a restaurant that was booked. Ukrainian bartender in the Flying Dutchman bar is awesome. A real mixologist. Walking distance to all sights unless you just can’t walk. Best thing about the hotel is the free tour daily at 11 am. Do not miss it! What a historical gem.Only thing free in the hotel.

A really excellent hotel with helpful and attentive staff. The best hotel in Amsterdam that we have stayed in. The staff go out of their way to make our stay happy and memorable. Breakfast is a really enjoyable experience.

Incredible service from everyone in the hotel. A special recognition to Simone at the Oriole Restaurant who worked breakfast every morning. Amazing positive energy and great service remembering what I ordered each day after the first day. Service with a big smile. I looked forward to going to breakfast each morning. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. Everyone is dialed in to a great service attitude at The Grand.
