We spent two nights at Corona hotel. To begin with, the stairs that lead to the rooms are VERY steep and VERY narrow. That is to say that the steps themselves are small, maybe 3-4 inches wide. My foot only fit on it sideways, so, as one can imagine, taking a suitcase up the stairs where you have little purchase, and have to hold on to rails for balance is not idea. There is no elevator.
The staff are very pleasant and courteous. We were offered help to get our things up to the room, but eventually we managed ourselves. The room had high ceiling and a large window with light darkening curtains. There was no AC in the room. There were four beds made up in the room, even though we only needed a triple. I rolled up the bedding on the fourth bed and we used it for the suitcases. The room was not very large, but we had enough space for all of us. There was an electric incense plugged in the wall socket. I took it out, because the perfume was too heavy. After a while we started smelling plumbing from the bathroom…. I am guessing that the old building does not have good circulation in the plumbing department. We just kept the door to the bathroom closed the whole time and took quick showers. Everything in the room and the bathroom was very old and dated.
The bathroom was very small. When sitting on the toilet, my knees were pretty close to the door. The shower was very small as well. The shower head was at the top of the celling. I am an average height, but I had difficulty reaching it to adjust it, so it would point at me. It was not otherwise adjustable.
The internet in the hotel was good, with several networks to connect to. However, there were not a lot of plugs in the room. I always keep an extension cord with me when I travel, and I had full use of it, as there were not enough plugs for all of our chargeable equipment. There was no safe and no refrigerator. Moreover, when I asked for ice one of the evenings, I was advised that they did not have any, and the grocery store across the street was already closed, so we could not buy any ice either.
On Thursday evening after 8 pm, the town was pretty much deserted. All the stores and many of the restaurants were closed. However, on Thursday night, there was VERY LOUD live music at the bar across from the hotel. On Friday night, there was no live music, but the bar goers were very loud late into the night. We finally had to close the windows in order to get some sleep, even though the weather was hot and there was no AC.
We were able to find some free parking a couple of blocks away. The hotel does not have parking on premises. I believe they serve breakfast in the mornings for additional cost. We chose not to participate. It was an ok stay, we survived it, but I would not want to return to this particular hotel.

This hotel is the worst I Have ever visited! It was expensive and it smelled so bad like someone hae been smoking there for years ! My advice: do not go here if you do not want to live in a horror hotel. Disguisting!

This small hotel was cheap to book but I found quality was matching.. I had a small, claustrophobic room with worn out furniture, old towels that had been washed a few times to many..
Breakfast was very basic, without, even, fruit.
