Old and dingy
The room is lived in. At first glance it looks clean, but don't look too closely. Yellow grout, mold in the bathroom. Hair of the previous guests on the wall. The drain is not draining well.
The reception was unfriendly and uninterested.
Slept one night, it was okay.

I was allocated this hotel by KLM due to a delayed flight.
The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport, although the bus service to the hotel was chaotic due to how busy it was.
Check-in was fast and efficient, with no issues, and everything was clearly explained. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable, with a good shower.
Unfortunately, the breakfast was a completely different experience. The quality of the food was very poor, and the breakfast area appeared unhygienic. The final straw was when I poured a glass of orange juice and found it was full of dead flies. At that point, I simply left.
The hotel itself was fine for an overnight stay, but the breakfast experience was extremely disappointing and needs serious attention.

We experienced a one-night stay at the Ibis Schiphol Amsterdam due to the unfortunate event that our flight from Ryanair was overbooked. We were a couple and one more person.
After a long discussion with the help desk at the airport, they confirmed that they had 1 Double bed and 1 single bed booked for us at the Ibis.
We arrived around 9 pm at the Ibis Hotel, and they said that they did not have our bookings. 3 receptionists and 1 supervisor (or a person who seemed to be more experienced) did not try to look through their system, emails, or call the airport to assist us.
They just informed us that they only do flight overbooking for KLM and that the hotel was fully booked already for the night.
At 9:10 pm we took the shuttle back to the Airport to chat with the Ryanair/Menzies helpdesk again. They were extremely confused to see us, as they did the hotel bookings. I asked the help desk to print the hotel reservation number.
Before going back again to the Ibis, I decided to call beforehand to be sure that the reservation had not been lost between Menzies and Ibis reservation systems. I called once and got no answer. I called a second time and a receptionist answered. I gave the reservation number, and she was still not able to find the booking. She transferred me to her manager, who was still not able to find the booking. I gave the phone to the Menzies agent, who finally sorted it out and confirmed 100% that the hotel's bookings were there.
We took the shuttle to the hotel (again).
We arrived at 22:30pm, and the supervisor (I suppose) only said ''All good, we have your bookings'' and let the receptionist do the check-in.
We were a bit disappointed that she did not explain more what the problem was and how they could not find our bookings.
After the check-in and on my way to the room, I asked one of the receptionists if it would be possible for the PM supervisor to give me a call in the next 10-15mins to give my feedback and understand what happened.
The receptionist became very defensive, explaining that it was not the Ibis' issue, and I calmly explained that it was not about pointing fingers, but I just wanted to know what happened.
No one called; the room was ok but not amazing enough to forget the poor customer handling.
The next morning, we did the check-out, and no one asked how the stay was.
