I stayed in this hotel passing trough on a business trip. The hotel is located next to a busy road. My room was facing the street, I had a quite noisy night. The girl at the reception waw friendly and helpfull, the room itself ok, but lacking a mini bar. The bathroom was surprisingly large. I had dinner at the restaurant. This was a sad experience. I first had a carpaccii. For an unknown reason my carpaccio was burried under a pile of vegetables, olives an tomatoes. Very strange presentation. After that I went for the rib eye steak and I awked for a rosti or potato mash instead of the proposed baked potatoes. This was refused, the chef did not have unprepared potatoes at his idsposal according to the rather unfriendly waiter. Food was disappointing. Breakfast ok, but at an unacceptable extra fee of 12 euro on top of the pricy rate for a night in a single room of 75 euro. doubt to stay again

I had the misfortune of staying at this hotel very recently on a business trip. After a long drive from my home to the airport, followed by a flight to Amsterdam and then a 2 hours and 45 minute drive to the hotel I was to say the least fairly tired and hungry. when I arrived the hotel was in darkness and was informed that it was due to a powercut. I was given the key to my room along with a candle. I enquired if there was any food available and was told that only cold food as the kitchen was not working, and that the chef leaves at 9pm. I sat in my room for approx. one hour until the electricity came back on and went to the restaurant with the intention of getting some food, only to be told by the receptionist that it was past 9pm and the chef had gone. Considering the fact the powercut affected several people at the hotel (and full rate was taken) I thought it would have been common courtesy to have told the chef to stay behind and work longer until all the customers who wanted a hot meal had been served.

Best Western doing what Best Western do best! A straightforward, comfortable, efficient hotel in a good location with great staff. It's very easy to find with ample off-road parking. I've been lucky enough to have always stayed in a rear-facing room (lovely to look out at the somewhat vocal miniature horses in the field next door) and have always had a good and peaceful night's sleep. I have, however, heard from other residents that the rooms to the front can be a little noisy especially if the road surface is wet.
