On the first morning, both the scrambled eggs and the fried eggs were cold. I then spoke to the chef about it, who did not respond at all. He simply took the scrambled eggs, warmed them up, and later returned them. Does the staff not speak with their guests?
When I returned and was supposed to take some of the reheated scrambled eggs, I found that it was not hot. It was merely lukewarm and inedible. I contacted the chef again, who then reheated the scrambled eggs without saying a word. CATASTROPHE!!!!
The second morning was even more catastrophic. The scrambled eggs were cold again. (Not to mention that it was not scrambled eggs made from eggs, but from chemical powder.....) This is really bad!!! Fried eggs were constantly missing. Then there was temporarily no bread - only a few scraps were left. I then thought I would wait for the bread. It took a very long time for anyone from the service to come and replenish the bread. Then there was a lack of jam. I then gave up.
Interestingly, in this context, is the fact that as a guest, I am informed in the elevators by image and text when breakfast can be relaxed and crowded. If the hotel is already informing me as a guest that it can be more crowded in the breakfast room between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM, I can assume that this is the hotel's experience. In other words, if the staff knows that it is more crowded at this time, why are they not prepared for it? Why did I, as a guest, not feel at all that the staff was responding to this? The breakfast and the service were simply outrageous!
When I went to check out, the first question from the lady was how I would like to pay. In the hotels where I have been a guest until now, I am at least asked if everything was alright and if I had a pleasant stay. However, being asked about the payment method as the first question really shows a level of service quality. Then, three charges were made to my credit card. The first charge was for the room and was correct. The second charge was already not justifiable. Upon inquiry, it was for the spa fee and my consumption from the bar. However, this could not be recognized as such. The third charge was for parking and part of the shop. This was also summarized and could not be justified. When I received the bill, the lady could not explain to me how the amounts were composed. All in all, it was fine in the end; but one must be able to do the math. Everything has been very opaque. The best for last: When I reported my experiences at breakfast, I received a small apology, but I was informed that it is always very crowded at that time and that there may be waiting times. There was no sign of the ability to accept criticism.
