Campanile Hotel & Restaurant Vlaardingen

Had a great stay. Evening at Ahoy and 1 night in this hotel! Booked a room for a nice price, approx. 86 euros! All other hotels, especially in the vicinity of Ahoy, are absurdly expensive! Slept wonderfully. TV in the room as well as coffee and kettle! Bathroom and bed great! Had a delicious cappucino, 2 of which as a courtesy from the employee on duty! Employees very friendly and attentive! Didn't use the breakfast buffet due to day plans elsewhere, but it looked delicious! Definitely a great stay for 1 or 2 nights!

Pictures were obviously misguiding. We had a room that smelled like a very old room, walls were dirty. All the ceiling had bits of spider nets. Not pleasant experience. Even smth like Ibis budget is much nicer. I cannot recommend it.

Friendly staff, very good shower, but room tiny, beds small, and overall site and buildings old, tired and dated. Needs complete renovation. Lots of road noise. Breakfast just about acceptable but not great.
