New City Hotel Scheveningen

Horrible. Reservation wasn't confirmed, had to pay in bank transfer. Apparently still 2 payments made, no confirmation for both reservations. After bad communication (and a bad gut feeling) canceled both reservations (was possible up until 72 hours upon arrival) and had to chase my refunds. One refund came minus €1,20 admin fee! (laughed so hard) This was not in their policy, but they feel free to do so anyway. Now I have to try and get my payment that I made with my creditcard.. and it's been a month already. Will never set foot in this place!

Tourist should know has bed bugs! I stayed there from 21.08.2025-24.08.2025, got bitten and found bugs in the mattress and under the wall . Don't book this place!

Dirt, no toilet paper and even beds were not made. Terrace looked bad, you couldn't touch anything. Outright outrageous. Bathroom smelled terrible. Shouldn’t be for rent, photos are completely different than in real life. Never again
