Rendezvous

Nice customer service, comfortable bed, and one of the best hotel breakfasts I've experienced. However, our hotel room itself was becoming very tired, with marks on walls, small hole in ceiling which could have been easily filled, wonky luggage rack and extremely luke warm water, which made showering rather unpleasant. There was no rack for hanging hand towels in the bathroom, however the bath towels themselves were great - large and fluffy. The room also was rather dark, with insufficient lighting IMO.

We asked about an upgrade as was our 51st Anniversary. They did not have any available but said they would give us a good room. They also sent sparkling water and platter of fruit to the room. Within walking distance of shops and harbour.

Long check in. Standard hotel. Nothing to write home about but comfortable. Please ensure there is enough staff to man the reception. 25min wait to check in with two staff checking people in isn’t good enough.
