What a surprise….. The best dining experience in Christchurch. The food is exquisite and wonderful menu options. Would definitely bring friends for lunch or dinner. Difficult to single out dishes but “Ribeye and Prawn Salad “ and the “Canterbury lamb Rump with Dukkha” are amazing… oh and the chocolate and raspberry Torte! Even the bathroom speaks luxury….

This hotel is great if your flight arrives late (after midnight) as they provide free shuttle service from airport to hotel until 2/3am. Friendly and helpful driver. Room good. Breakfast OK. They also provide shuttle service next morning back to airport which is very helpful. We used this service to go to supermarket near hotel to stock up before going on our way and they dropped us outside supermarket (Woolworths) which was useful. However, the thing that left us with a sour taste was that the reception girl charged us to keep our baggage in adjacent room when we went to the supermarket. Surely they could have done this as they knew we were only away an hour before we returned and picked up our luggage.

We stayed at a motel nearby but used the restaurant at this motel. Lovely staff, fabulous food….I had to compliment the chef on his fish and chips because it was up with the best I’ve ever had….and a very pleasant atmosphere. Food was also very good value for money. Will stay here next time we visit.
