Rivendell Bed And Breakfast Homestay

Staying with Ricky and Andrew was like visiting friends with the feeling of being in your own little home from home. We stayed in the Mallard Duck self contained self catering unit (separate to the main house). It is a studio unit with queen bed, fully fitted kitchen area and shower room. We were given full use of the hot tub through to late hours, which was excellent. Sitting in the hot bubbling water under a sky full of stars, with very little light pollution was amazing. Ricky even kindly did some laundry for us whilst we were out for the day. The wifi was good too. You would be best staying here if you want a quiet place, you get to by car, as it's not in the town centre. Unfortunately visiting NZ is quite a trip from the U.K., but if we were to visit Geraldine again we would stay here for sure. I really should apologise to Ricky and Andrew for not posting this review sooner, but I suppose it's better late than never.
