Clarion Collection Edgewater Palms

Not recommended since place is old and carpet was dirty. Bathroom is small with one small sink. Not the kind of place for friends or golf groups since has families and kids.

This was a WONDERFUL place with a great view! We left one accommodation and came to this one based on a recommendation from a local. It was very spacious, a view of the ocean, full kitchen, washer and dryer, just perfect all around. The only thing better than the actual apartment was the staff. They were helpful with things to do and were incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Definitely worth every penny!

We booked a room in December and the room we paid NZD 820 !! per night for was made for wheelchairs so everything was really low like kitchen bench, sinks etc. Not great if you wanted to cook something so we just went out every time. The place also smelt damp and had wet patches on the floor in the living room and the hallway near one of the bedrooms. It was like water came from under the floor. It was such a depressing room, no good memories being made here. It was supposed to be an amazing time in Paihia but our room had ruined our stay. Still can’t believe they charged us so much for a room like that, I still feel sick thinking about how much we paid. We told our travel agency to never book anyone at this accomodation.
