Excellent location but that is where it ends. Great disappointment of our long trip through New Zealand. The hotel photos do not correspond to the rooms (apparently some have been renovated and are in the photos, but we were not lucky enough to be in one even though the hotel was far from full). It is almost misleading! Very old-fashioned and outdated, not very clean (stained carpet, dust, and air vents in the bathroom very dirty). New laundry room but expensive compared to other hotels in NZ (+50%). Almost non-existent signage to find the reception when arriving at nightfall. The icing on the cake: a water leak in the hallway right in front of our room (see photos)! Positive note: dinner at the restaurant was served quickly and was good. Very mediocre breakfast.

A wonderful stay. The room was clean and tidy. Food and service were excellent. Will visit again.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. The view was amazing, The noise from the pool was a little loud at times, but it was still great. Bathroom was nice and clean, and worked for us. Breakfast and Dining area were amazing. The staff were so friendly, very nice to talk to and very accomodating with whatever assistance we needed. Top tier service. Atmosphere was very relaxing and enjoyable. Location was beautiful. Value for money.
