We visited this hotel on our last honeymoon stop around NZ and it was great. The best nights kip we had in three weeks. We had a very warm welcome from the host, I can't remember his name but he was there working with his wife/girlfriend.
Parking is a bit of an issue, but once you get a space you are sorted!
Breakfast was a bit sub-standard with stale bread and croissants, but overall was OK. Would have liked to sit on our own table, as there is only two big tables for breakfast, but it's not the end of the world.
The room was generally clean, but the rooms are only cleaned on the third morning. The bathroom could do with a little revamp, but it does go with the whole aesthetics of the place.
Great location and very close to town and Gondola.
