Stunning sunset views and perfect location , spacious suite , spotless, peaceful surroundings , delicious a la carte breakfast.People make the difference and the managers were most welcoming , nothing was too much trouble and good value for money too .

Wendy and David are exceptional hosts who go out of their way to help you. The view of the lake and gardens are stunning and the best we have experienced in the South Island New Zealand. We would certainly recommend Hidden Lodge to anyone who enjoys a good food, the personal touch and beautiful peaceful accommodation.

We had a great stay in this lovely lodge. The views from the rooms are amazing and the hosts Wendy and David were most welcoming with plenty of local knowledge to help plan your stay. The location on the fringe of Queenstown was perfect, it was so peaceful and yet an easy 10min bus ride took you into the middle of the town which I would recommend as there was limited free parking. The rooms were immaculate and the included breakfast was excellent. We hired e bikes from Vertigo centrally located in town and had a great ride north for about 3 hours. The luge is good fun with great views from the gondola. There is a lovely beach close to the lodge where you can swim. I would definitely return, thank you.
