ST MORITZ

Staff attentiveness has been outstanding from the moment we checked in. I handed over our bags and ski jackets at arrival, and by the time we got to the room a few hours later, everything had been neatly hung up for us. We’re celebrating a special occasion and I’m an Accor Gold member, they upgraded our room, and we were welcomed with a handwritten note and a lovely welcome amenity. That kind of thoughtfulness runs through every corner of the room: fresh milk (not UHT, not bottled) delivered and kept in the fridge for coffee, with almond and oat alternatives available on request too, plus bottled water in the fridge. USB-C adaptors by the bedside and in-room socks for the cold Queenstown weather show they’ve genuinely thought about guest comfort, without losing sight of sustainability. The staff have genuinely gone above and beyond. I’m writing this in-house on night one of a four-night stay, and it’s already clear this is the right choice in Queenstown, even over other hotels where I hold status. Looking forward to trying the F&B and experiencing more of what this hotel has to offer. Thanks again to the wonderful team!

The staff at St Moritz Hotel Queenstown were exceptional — hands down the most helpful, friendly, polite and willing team we’ve encountered across all the Accor properties we’ve stayed at around the world. Nothing was too much trouble. Food from the restaurant was delicious and the cocktails were on point. The location and views are stunning, especially waking up to fresh overnight snowfall over Queenstown. It’s also a short, easy walk into town, with great access to shops, restaurants and the main attractions. Simply the best (possibly better than Raffles Singapore for staff service). Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Great hotel, clean, large rooms, nice service. I had a room with a view but it was just the back garden - couldn’t see the lake but that was the only fault!
