Lovely apartment split over 3 levels. First level was the garage, laundry, and a separate toilet and shower. Second level was the lounge, kitchen, dining and balcony. Third level was the master bedroom, toilet and bathroom. Two other rooms were closed off. Beautifully equipped with a full range of kitchen appliances and little touches like paper towels and a salt and pepper set. Clean and comfortable; we would certainly stay again.

So I was not so keen to write a great review because I will definitely be going back and wanted to be sure the place is not fully booked when I do :) The location was great, the service was great and I adore Whangamata. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We had a long standing booking (of twelve months) that was cancelled on us ten days prior to our arrival. The Manager phoned to inform us that the owner of the unit (as all the units are individually owned), required the unit we had booked so they were cancelling our booking. As the period we were staying was a busy long weekend, he could not offer us any alternative as they were fully booked. There was no offer to assist us to find alternative accommodation, no compensation offer, just "I'm sorry there's nothing I can do". So be aware when booking at this establishment that your booking may not be guaranteed. You will have to decide if you are willing to take the chance your holiday plans might be disrupted significantly at the last minute.
