We were travelling with our small dog, so chose this place based on allowing pets and the reviews we’d seen. Staff were friendly and welcoming and the unit was very comfortable and quiet. Spacious outdoor areas too, adjacent to the river. We had dinner as a takeaway from the restaurant and the food was excellent, especially the crumbed snapper. Would be happy to stay there again.

Great pet friendly motel but rooms could do with a clean. I booked a studio for 2 nights with my pet dog, room was quite dirty floor was not vaccumed leaves in the corner of the room, microwave was dirty inside and out and there was dog hair on the bed. As stated on the website a fee applies for pets $30 per stay not per night, not per pet, a maximum stay of 3 nights. As i checked out i went to pay for my accommodation and was supprised to be told by the guy in the office that i would be paying $50 because i stayed 2 nights with my pet, i told him no it is $30 that's what's stated online, then he tried to lie about it as if he didnt know what he was doing. I am just putting this out there for people to be aware of this not wanting other people to be scammed by this man not professional at all !!!

Terrible experience and place to stay. Arrived, checked in given key and no instructions on how to find the unit until I asked. Then was quickly shown a map. Arrived the room - very strange smell in the room. We closed the door and locked it. We checked it was locked and also from the outside. It didn’t lock. You could pull it open. Phoned reception. Very cold response and had to repeat it twice and then was asked what I wanted to happen. I asked for another room. We were told “someone will come”. Next minute there is someone trying to get in. This was the “someone”. No knocking on the door, no letting us know he was there. Very frightening for my kids. I opened the curtain and said hello and was completely ignored. So I said it again. He said the door was fine but we showed him it wasn’t. He gave us a key to another room and said use that one and walked away. No idea where we were going. Absolutely terrible. The room itself…needs some attention. Black mould on her window sills in the bathroom, pastry crumbs in the microwave left over from someone else. Absolutely would not recommend this place. It wasn’t worth any of the money we paid.
