Comfortable room and first class breakfast. Colin is pleasant & helpful. A long walk from the centre but, if you have wheels, ideal. There is an upstairs lounge with all sorts of facilities including use of a fridge, coffee making and so on. And an excellent view! Hokitika is well worth visiting. A nice place with a good small museum and some interesting shops. Someone is heavily into making 'beach art' with driftwood on the beach!

Only stayed for a night but room very comfy and clean, couldn't wish for a more friendly helpful host, great place to stay. Stayed en route to the Haast pass but due to the weather the pass was closed, was able to use the PC and phone to check conditions, great host.

Professional B&B, run by Colin. We got to hear a lot of the surroundings, spent quality time talking to him and his experience with the dynamic New Zealand climate (while we were there a bridge washed out because of heavy flooding, which made us make a detour of our originally planned route). Lovely Indian restaurant in the town!
