First Hotel Millennium

Very worn hotel, painting flaps off on walls. Weak flush on the toilet. Safe stops on windows are broken and it is risky when travelling with children. Breakfast had little choice but hot dishes were good. Just two different ham and bread like that. Small selection in yogurt etc. No facilities at the hotel and little flexibility in view of shifting check-out. Very nice lady at the front desk that made the stay better. Nice cleaning staff. In short a worn-out and poor hotel but with very nice staff. Location is very good in the middle of the city centre.

The entrance looks nice, but that's all. The room would require a serious refresh, including paint and furniture. The same goes for the bathroom, whose fixtures seem to date back to the 1950s. With the heatwave, the air conditioning has supposedly broken down! A curious coincidence, considering the equipment has seemed outdated for a long time.

The hotel has a central location and friendly service. The room we stayed in was tired, and the bathroom could need renovation. The room had only one key, so it had to be delivered in the reception every time we were going out, and picked up again upon return, so a little heavy. Funny that this key was of the type from "the good old days", i.e. key on key ring, but personally we would rather have key card and let go by the reception every time. Good breakfast, with the most necessary. Not hard to find tables, but tight between them.
