P-Hotels Oslo

The hotel is a few minutes from Oslo Central Station. The room I stayed in is large with double bed with a good size bathroom. The only porem was the lack of floor carpet that alias no hotel in this my trip is providing. And after the bath the bathroom was always wet. I also felt missing having breakfast included although it has the advantage of buying at the reception. From the hotel I was able to walk to several sights, having the hotel a good location.

I am surprised about the negative reviews about the staff because they've been excellent for me. Old and young. Friendly, helpful, funny! And certainly the service anywhere makes all the difference. I would easily return here. It's value for money for Oslo. Rooms (I've seen two - mine and a friend's) are spacious, bathrooms too. Yes, it's all basic but that was expected. Great location - near the main attractions, the main railway station, the main gay bar (London Pub - a legend). One thing I do agree with is the walls are a little thin - seems to be between floors rather than across as, right now, I can hear (feel!) people above running around upstairs and muffled voices. Probably a family as I don't hear (or feel) anyone else.

I felt insecure here, at night there was screaming, hammering on the walls, running in the hallways. It started around 3:00 both nights I was there. The rooms are dirty and very worn, appears as nothing was washed in several months. You get a night in Oslo for the 1000-lappen, but it costs a lot more than it tastes.
