The atmosphere is outstanding with very good fjord views and a very nice garden, But it is too dilapidated, I had my room replaced because it didn't have a terrace (veranda) at first, but it has a fjord view, When I came back from sightseeing on the second day of my two-night stay, I found concrete and grass sakai on the terrace, pile-like things about 5 cm square and 1 meter long stuck in the grass side, debris was scattered around. When I opened the door, I didn't know what it was like at the beginning, but the plaster on the lower level, which supported the 4th floor veranda fence on two levels, seemed to fall off, Just as the staff walked by the yard, they pulled out the puncture and apologized, but when I went out into the yard again and looked up at the fallen part of the 4th floor, I could clearly see the fallen part even for the short-sighted me who was not wearing glasses, and I even found that there was a big crack on both sides of it, and if it remained that way, the cracked part would fall off as well, and the fence on the veranda where the base was torn off was dangerous, I knew the elevator (manual in the lobby) was old and inconvenient, but I also tried to use the normal elevator in the middle of the hallway when I was heading to the front desk for checkout. There were two big staff carts with towels and sheets snuck up in front of the elevator, so no one could get through, I thought maybe this elevator was a recognition for hotel staff, In the meantime, there is no apology from the hotel until now until you check out, I'm really glad I wasn't on the terrace when it fell. There is a coop nearby, but the selection is poor, if it's only to buy water, it's useful. It is convenient to have a machine in the lobby where you can have your own coffee, etc., but it seems to be a relatively standard service in Norwegian hotels.

Just absolutely amazing experience all from fish’n chips and beer out to bathing to the resturant and the beautiful view room.

Service arranged receptionist arranged room change, and staffed with wine opener, glasses and bucket of ice on request! Breakfast was good, could be warmer hot dishes, otherwise good selection. The dinner was somewhat varied, the pigtail was very good and can be recommended! The fish was fine, a little tasteless. Generally clean and nice.
