The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the city center. The room is very small and there is no sealed door between the bathroom and the room, so at night anyone who enters the bathroom the light disturbs their sleep. The room is small and simple, yet clean and tidy. There is no parking at the hotel, you have to pay in public parking. The breakfast was excellent, very large selection and delicious.

This was my first trip to Ålesund and the hotel was on the cheaper side which I was appreciative of. I didn’t have any issues until it was the 2nd day of my 6 day stay and housekeeping didn’t bother to come by. I had my boyfriend ask the front desk about info on it, they mentioned that the 3rd day they come by.. okay so 3rd day came and went.. no clean towels, no toilet paper restock and no trash was removed from the room.. my boyfriend went back to the front to get more toilet paper and asked again about room service and they said something along the lines of our request being missed.
