This hotel has the advantage of being located right in the city center. The service is decent. The breakfast is also decent. It is possible to eat at any time at the hotel.

It is among the best-reviewed 4-star hotels and also the least expensive. It occupies the best location in the city: close to the Hurtigruten docking area and on the island part where the main attractions of Alesund are concentrated. Modern, clean, quiet, and comfortable; professional and helpful staff. The single room that was assigned to me was very clean, and although small, it had everything I needed. There was even an umbrella available! Comfortable bed, TV, kettle, functional and super tidy bathroom. The sloped ceiling, besides not causing any inconvenience, actually made the room more intimate and charming. The only noise was the wind that blew impetuously from time to time. I can say that it is one of the best rooms that has been reserved for me in these 30 years that I have been traveling solo around Europe. The buffet breakfast is very good. If I were ever to land with the fjord mail boat a second time, I would return to this hotel with great pleasure.
