Great spot to reach all the main sights on foot. I had a premier single room which was slightly more luxurious than my friends’ basic double room, although they had more cooking facilities and a little balcony. Coffee station and microwave near reception and you can also pick up utensils and pots etc there. You’ll need them and the Kiwi supermarket up the road. Unless you’re rich you won’t be using the restaurants! Room was basic and clean with a comfortable bed. More intense maintenance would help a little - loose bathroom tap and shower door hanging by a thread. But all-in-all I was grateful for this little sanctuary in the middle of town and its proximity to a McDonalds with a reasonable krone to calorie ratio. Yes, I would stay again if I ever return to Oslo (which I definitely won’t be doing)!

As mentioned in the comments, the guesthouse is well located, in a lively neighborhood, and its prices are reasonable for Oslo. Small room without charm, shared bathroom. It was clean. The staff is kind but does not speak Norwegian and has basic English. It was quite quiet.

I tend to return to this place, as it is smack dab in the middle of everything in Oslo, and reasonably priced. Not cheap, just reasonable. The rooms are clean, staff friendly and I cannot really fault them on anything.
