RADISSON BLU ROYAL

Nice and service-oriented staff. Nice with parking right under the hotel. Dusty and dirty at breakfast. Carpet floor at the breakfast area, where there was plenty of old food. Foaje was small and crowded, noko that made it crowded and chaotic when it was check-in and check-out since the elevator was right nearby. The elevators were treig.

Good location, close to the city centre, lovely lobby, decent bar, brilliant pool and sauna, very friendly staff. Rooms were average; we had a dog-friendly room with no wardrobe, the curtains were torn and the cleanliness was a bit so-so. The second room for our daughter was very good. Excellent breakfast.

Too many “should have researched in advance” and not the best in cleanliness … I have to admit that I got sent an sms the day before of our stay with a link that I bothered to read. It said we have to book the swimming pool/gym in advance , and that it will be only one session per day. Great. In their defence they have extended the schedule for children. But then we were left waiting for the cleaning of our room (which to start with was dusty). They never showed up. Apparently I had to book the cleaning myself (?). When I finally got the room done the next day they did not clean the bathroom, had the same stains than the day before (toilet not even sprayed) just clean towels and beds done and that was it. To end the stay I ask for an alternative for our breakfast, since we were leaving early…I was told it was too late to ask for it. I understand that the evening before perhaps it was, but there was none compensation for it in any form. Too many rules and low standards for a 4*. Breakfast was varied and good.
