DMAS HOTEL

I made the booking for Co Worker for Business trip and from the beginning it was hassle. i checked the hotel in Expedia and it was mentioned in the hotel page that they offer Free Airport Transportation and mainly this was the main reason i chose Dmas hotel for it. before making the reservation i called the hotel to confirm about the transportation , someone called Mohsin answered me and said that the airport transport is chargable and this is mistake from Expedia side, i asked to talk to the Front Office manager but he told me that he checked with his manager and he will offer me Free Airport Shuttle and all what i need to do is make reservation and send him email. i made the reservation and sent email to ask for the Airport transport but then Mohsin said that it will be chargeable and he denied his confirmation before and told me he only said that he will check with the manager but my reservation has cheap rate and he can't offer transport. i asked to talk with the FO manager and he told me he is the FO manager , i asked for the GM and he told me he is in meeting then he told me he is out of the country . i was quite upset cause i consider this as cheating cause the hotel website say free transport and he confirmed it to me then he want to charge me for it . i made several international calls and several emails no one else answered me back like the whole hotel only one person is managing it !! No knowledge of good guest service and guest satisfaction. by the end of the stay we have been agreed on the charges with 8 OMR for Airport pick up and 6 OMR for Airport Drop but when i asked to change the Airport drop time to 6:30 AM he charged me 8 OMR cause the time is Early !! never heard about that before. in the end of the stay, instead of giving the Guest Invoice or Receipt for the taxi charges Mohsin printed his own email to me stating the charges of 16 OMR for both ways since when hotels give email copies upon check out for guests .... really weird hotel system and very disappointing.

When I booked the Hotel, my expectations was a overnight stay during the transit considering its proximity to the city & with a decent price range. I got pleasantly surprised on the Host's highly attentive approach, the amenities & mostly the food the prepared additionally to accommodate my request so promptly. The Rooms are decent, good sizable, clean & with all basic amenities.They upgraded my room without any additional charges which was a great gesture, I liked the cleanliness of the room & the views as well. The locations is also good, very close to the main city & main market area. I will recommend this hotel for a budget friendly stay with a decent staying experiences.

I stayed two nights in this hotel during my back packing holidays to Oman. Rooms have very good size and it is very clean. Breakfast is quite simple but tasty local food. Split A/C units are very effective but I tried two rooms and neither had adjustable direction of flow. At one room A/C would be blowing straight on my head so I asked to change my room and was accommodated very quickly to another room where I was more comfortable.
