Holiday Inn At The Panama Canal

The hotel staff is very friendly. Jorge from Security was always attentive to our needs.

The rooms were clean and neat. Breakfast options were really good and great coffee. Pool is nice but small. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. Washer and dryer for guests were on second floor and was a big bonus for us. Our room faced the canal so it was really cool to see the boats from our room. However, the noise was so loud by the street.

The location was incredible. I could lie in bed and watch the ships pass thru the Panama Canal. It was a convenient location to the many tours available for the canal and Lake Gatun as well. The staff were very accommodating and friendly and the food in the restaurant was of good quality. The only negative things I encountered was there was no hot water in the shower. The sink next to it got very hot, but the shower remained lukewarm at best. Also, the TV didn't accommodate apps, which is minor. The only other thing about the hotel is that it could use a little updating, but it's not bad as is.
