The Costa Del Sol Wyndham is a charming, old-world hacienda style hotel. My husband and I stayed two different times in one trip due to an overnight to Machu Picchu. The staff was incredibly polite and went out of their way to make sure everything about our stay was wonderful. The restaurant was delicious and healthy (especially breakfast). The rooms were comfortable, spacious, and very clean. The hotel was located within walking distance of the town center and our concierge helped us to plan out places to visit in Cusco based on our interests. The hotel stored our luggage for us when we went to Machu Picchu without any hassle at all. All of our needs were met and they even brought me ice cream which was not a main choice on the menu...so extra stars there. The room A/C unit was a bit noisy, but these old buildings were not made for it so no complaints there. This hotel is a good place to acclimatize to the higher altitudes as most things are a short, leisurely walk.
