My mother recently visited Lima for a month and stayed at the Basadre Suites and enjoyed her entire stay there. I was originally worried about getting in touch with her since she accidentally left her cell phone behind in the States, but the staff was extremely communicative and were quick to inform me when she checked in and how she was doing during her stay. The hotel owner, Fabrizio, made sure to give me his direct email and number and even emailed me a picture of him and mother to set aside my worries about her traveling alone. I could not recommend Basadre Suites enough - wonderful experience!
