Hotel Agusto's Urubamba

This was a special place! So beautiful! The gardens and the view were spectacular. The rooms were spacious and the beds were so comfortable! And the food! The breakfast was great! The first night we arrived late so ate at the hotel--probably the best ceviche I had in Peru! And the presentation was beautiful! Stay here!

As part of a tour package we stayed one night at this property. We were satisfied by the services provided and the magnificent exteriors of the hotel. Comfortable bedding, bedroom with two double beds and balcony. The dinner in the restaurant was ok but nothing transcendent. The friendly and smiling service but still as long to serve drinks.

What a lovely hotel. We weren’t sure what to expect as this was booked for us as part of our group tour. All the staff we interacted with were super friendly, especially the man who helped us with the luggage, he ran over to help us and was determined to make sure we didn’t need to carry our things, he clearly didn’t expect anything as he was super grateful for the tip (which we were happy to give!). The hotel is very pretty from the outside, Spanish villa style with lots of white, natural wood and flowers / plants. The rooms are very large, a very basic style but it works, everything was clean, a fridge, plug-in heater (as the evenings can get a little chilly), shelf for your luggage, 2 big beds, a balcony with table and chairs to have a view of the surrounding mountains, spacious bathroom with a hairdryer and soap / shampoo. Noise levels are rather low as the hotel is set right back from any roads or areas of noise, which made a big difference from being in Lima and central Cusco. The restaurant offers a big selection of dishes for dinner, at very reasonable prices, the trout and curried chicken are delicious! Happy Hour at the bar is good, they make a great Pisco Sour and the other cocktails were pretty well made too. There is Coca Tea available for free as well as a gift shop for purchases. The WiFi worked pretty well for our whole group. Breakfast could be a little better, a reasonable choice of products but could be a little better. My husband and I would love to stay in this hotel again if we return to the area in the future.
