The Sun Villa Resort and Spa Hilltop

This hotel is definitely not bad but it definitely looks better in photos than in real life. It's an older facility and far from any sort of luxury. Obviously the place is relatively inexpensive but for Boracay standards not too cheap. There were some luxury resorts on the island that were charging the same price per night. Nevertheless, the place is neat, clean, staff is friendly and their breakfast is solid. It's a short walk from the beach, d*talipapa market and d*mall. It's a good place if you're not expecting to spend too much time in your room. If you're a traveler like me who's only looking to sleep in a comfortable bed, take a shower and keep his stuff in the room and spend his time outside exploring then this hotel will suffice. The bottom line is, I liked the place.

It's like being home away from the hustle and bustle of the busy and noisy streets of Boracay Island but just a stone's throw away to the beach activities. Best for family and barkada bonding and more so for honeymooners. You will be pampered every day of your stay by the good resort service staff and surprisingly by no less than Emer and Edd who own this homey resort.

I booked this hotel of the good reviews,but after check in it was already disappointment. -Some hair from other clients in the bathroom -no windows to open,so after 1 night your swimwear smells because no fresh air. -swimmingpool dirty -breakfast cold -and the last one that we of that check out 2 night earlier is that the airco make very loud noise of the water of the other airco upstairs at night.so we call the receptionist,and they cannot do about it.so we ask for another room that night and no other room for us,so all the night no sleep. We ask our money back and of course it was not possible.so we loose money and booked another hotel. Very very disappointment.
