Diamond Water Edge Resort

The hotel is to everything. If you book your room closest to the beachside, you will share your terrace with other guests, so you cannot really open your window curtains to look at the ocean view without people seeing you inside your room.The music is on till early morning, and not to mention the ceiling noise. I heard the rooms in the original building is much better.

1. The staff from Front Office acts like a robot that only knows what script to say other simple questions or requests would be asked permission to the other lady in different uniform which should be avoided. 2. The staff who helped us deliver our luggage did not explain or teach how to lock/unlock door (it is an old school type of door knob, not your typical room key card btw), though we are returning guests they did not know that and we ofcourse forgot how to use it as well. 3. 1 Lady Staff in the restaurant has no proper service etiquette. When my husband get our breakfast and was requesting to bring our food upstairs on the balcony of our room (its just above the restaurant, beachfront suite which has a great view and peaceful away from crowd of other guests dining) but they said its not allowed, when we claimed we used to do that before during our stay they said new management does not allow even when my husband offered he would bring it up and down himself. no proper apologies just a no its not allowed response. we would understand if they know how to properly talk to guests but no. So we went down and waited on the table, upon delivering our food staff mentioned the food but no proper greeting not even a simple goodmorning was made even when she saw me and my daughter for the first time. They had no name plates but this incident happened on April6 9am only 1 female and male staff wearing pink polo shirt is onduty. We stayed in this hotel for 7nights last 2024. now we are in boracay for 11 days. unfortunately the room we want was not available so we had to book another hotel first and stay here for 6nights. Our experience 2 years ago was great which made us want to go back here, we also recommend this hotel with our friends/relatives but as a paying customer if this is the service their staff have now its really bad and disappointing.

NOT GOOD! DONT STAY HERE! We were here for one week and the Windows didnt have glass so you could hear everything form outside. Around the Hotel is it houses for the people living on Boracay and its very dirty and they have a lot of dogs barking all day and all night. We tried to talk to them but they dont listen. They have the dogs in small cages. The reception didnt want to help. They gave us another room with them same problem. When I asked what they Will do they Said that its not their problem. We didnt get a refund even for one night. And we couldnt sleep for 6 nights. This destroyed our Boracay vacation!!!
