Mayflower Hotel

This hotel is really nice, rooms are clean. The restroom was spotless, definitely a plus. Breakfast was delicious. They also have a small pool. The stay was really good, there are no complaints. Only con is that it's quite far from all the action. It's on the back side where locals of Boracay live. It's good to see this side though cos we got to save money in buying stuff. The prices there aren't gold like the stores from the beach front area. Alleys and walkways are relatively safe, we didn't get into trouble even if we go home late most nights. I and my friend stayed in this hotel for 3 days and 2 nights. The place is far from the beach. We booked for twin beds but they gave us queen sized bed. We thought that the bottled water inside the fridge was complementary drinks but we paid for 50 pesos each upon checking out. The blanket was too thin. You only have two choices for breakfast - American/Filipino and same menu everytime. Shower heater was not working. It seems that the room slippers was been used by lots of people.

The appearance of the hotel and it's pool are nice and clean. The staff are helpful and polite. The location is not what I would have chosen as it is about 10 mins from the beach but there is a free shuttle service. The rooms are basic, as is the food.
