Amarella Resort

If you want to stay in a quiete boutique resort in Panglao, then consider staying at Amarela in Panglao. We stayed here twice already. 1st time was in 2018 and then 2nd was in summer of 2025. This place feels like home. Private beach and a beautiful pool. Free airport shuttle to and from. It has been a wonderful experience staying here. A tuktuk ride away if you want to visit/experience the busy beach life of Panglao.

🌴한국인분들한테만 비밀로 공유하고 싶은 보홀 비밀 휴양지 느낌의 리조트🌴 보홀 여행하면서 알로나비치 쪽만 생각했는데, 아마렐라 리조트는 분위기 자체가 완전히 달라요. 시내랑 거리는 조금 있지만 대신 그만큼 조용하고 프라이빗한 힐링 그 자체!! 우선 객실 분위기가 너무 좋았어요. 전부 개별 테라스가 있어서 아침에 문 열고 나가면 바로 알록달록한 열대 정원 느낌에 프라이빗 비치가 펼쳐져서 그냥 앉아만 있어도 힐링됩니다. 직원분들도 진짜 너무 친절해서 머무는 내내 감사했어요. 그리고 프라이빗 비치… 여기가 진짜 이 리조트의 킥이에요! 리조트 숙박객만 이용 가능하다보니 제가 통째로 바다를 빌린 느낌이고, 스노클링 마스크랑 핀도 무료로 빌려줘서 그냥 바로 들어가서 놀 수 있어요. 저는 이용 안 했지만 카약도 무료! 조식도 진짜 최고! 필리핀 여행하면서 먹은 음식 중 가장 맛있는 곳이 아마렐라 리조트에요. 필리핀식, 유럽식, 팬케이크 등 선택 옵션도 다양하고 리조트 안 농장에서 직접 키운 재료를 써서 더 특별하고 믿음이 갑니다! 그리고 진짜 하이라이트는 프라이빗 비치 디너!! 이건 연인끼리 오셨으면 꼭 경험해보셔야 해요. 분위기 미쳤고 음식도 하나하나 다 맛있어서 “여기 미슐랭 아니야?” 이런 생각이 들더라고요. 전체적으로 보면 여기는 관광하는 숙소가 아니라 그냥 여기서 하루 종일 쉬라고 만들어진 리조트예요. 한국인분들 아직 많이 안 가는 느낌인데 곳곳에 인생샷 찍을 곳도 천지라서 완전 추천드리는 곳입니다! We stayed at Amarela Resort in Bohol and honestly… this place feels like a hidden paradise that I almost don’t want to share with too many people 😭🌴 If you are used to staying around Alona Beach, this resort will feel completely different. It is quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. It’s not about being in the center—it’s about actually relaxing. The rooms were amazing. Every room has a private terrace, and waking up in the morning with garden and ocean views felt so healing. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming—like, genuinely warm hospitality that makes you feel taken care of all the time. The private beach was a highlight. It was almost empty most of the time, which made it feel like we had our own little beach. They also provide free snorkeling masks and fins, so we could just jump in and enjoy the water easily. Kayaks are also available for free, which is a nice bonus. Breakfast was surprisingly good, especially the Filipino dishes—very filling and flavorful. You can also feel that they use fresh ingredients from their own farm inside the resort, which makes everything feel more special and eco-friendly. But the absolute highlight was the private beach dinner. The atmosphere, the food, the ocean view—everything felt like a dream. Honestly one of the most memorable dining experiences I’ve had while traveling. Overall, Amarela Resort is not a “busy travel hotel.” It is a true hidden relaxation spot in Bohol. Perfect for couples, honeymooners, or anyone who wants to just slow down and enjoy nature 🌿✨

Very nice little spot. Almost paradise-like. Beautiful garden area. Friendly and helpful staff. Superb service. Very sustainable and great concept. Very gladly again.
