Pacific Cebu Resort

This place would have been amazing in its day..but it has deteriated since the typhoon in 2021, then the pandemic With a bit of TLC it could me fixed up.There is plenty of sunbeds..but no cushions on them.I found them all locked in a storage area near the infinity pool.No music..food nice but expensive.The included breakfast was nothing special..no bacon.Its a shower in the bath..it wouldnt suit elderly.The airconditioner is an old window one,but put into the wall..so it was like trying to sleep with a freight train..all the rooms were the saneWe were told the standard rooms were all booked out and we had to pay for deluxe The place is deserted not many other guests.. later on one of the staff said there were 50 standard rooms with availability, too late we already paid.We spent time at the infinity pool in the morning 2 staff sitting at the bar.They didnt even ask if we wanted anything,we had to come to the main bar to get a drink while the 2 staff members were sleeping There are leaves all around the pool and in it.No filer on and nobody sweeping up the leaves.Thid is poor management.We met Mars from the bar area He was so helpful and couldn't do enough for us.He himself kept coming to the infinite pool in the afternoon to check if we needed anything.He showed photos of the place back in 2020 and it looked sensational.Mars gave us some history about the area too.I would highly suggest that Mars be put into management as the other staff just dont give the same service..even trying to order food is hard. Wave sat here for half an hour and nobody has approached us to order..they are all just standing around..talking or on their phones .I hope someone, or the owners read this and can try and save the place before its too late Ive included the 2 sleeping staff near the infinity pool..with all the leaves

Nice beach area, and the staff was excellent. But be warned of the amenity claims. There was no laundry service, no airport shuttle (they will call you a taxi), no spa (they will call for you a room massage), no bike rentals, and the gym had no air con. Also the property was , as they say, in the middle of nowhere, and thus, the restaurant prices were high - the highest I personally have ever seen in all my stays in the philippines (even at resorts that cost over twice as much ). We had a guest visit us during our stay for about 3 hours and used the pool. We were charged an additional 1800 pisos (a bit extreme - same price as an overnight guest )

Definitely not a 3 star hotel! The rooms are overpriced for what it is. You also have to pay a CASH deposit of Php2000 per night of stay which sums up to literally half of what we’ve already paid! Who’s carrying that much cash? Luckily we had enough. There is too much parking so, unnecessary. The staff needs training with hospitality. They will have as little interaction with you as possible. Our room had a LOT OF ANTS AND BUGS. We stayed in Coron, Bohol, Baguio and I’ve never seen that much ants in any other hotels we’ve booked. There were holes in the room where insects go into the room. The food is overpriced and the serving size is small, taste is mid but the drinks are okaish 👍🏻. Do not get food delivered or bring any outside food or else you’ll have to pay the hotel the full amount of food + 35% corkage fee. They have soooo many house rules. I didnt check the reviews before I book, my mistake, Dont do the same thing I did.
