Every sunrise and sunset felt like a painting, making it impossible not to slow down and simply appreciate the beauty around us. What made our stay even more unforgettable was celebrating one of the most meaningful milestones in our lives—our renewal of vows. The resort arranged the most intimate and romantic setting overlooking the sea, creating a moment we will cherish forever. It couldn’t have been a more perfect place to reaffirm our love. The accommodations were equally impressive. Our room was spacious, luxurious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. It was the perfect sanctuary after a day of exploring the island. Dining was another highlight of our stay. Every meal was exceptional—from the generous breakfast spread to delicious lunches and an intimate dinner by the sea. The menu beautifully showcased both authentic Filipino cuisine and well-prepared Western dishes, offering something for every palate. Every meal felt like an experience rather than just another buffet. What truly sets Bluewater Sumilon apart, however, is its people. Every member of the team welcomed us with genuine smiles and heartfelt hospitality. Their attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism made us feel less like guests and more like family. The service was consistently outstanding throughout our stay. The resort is also perfectly located for those wanting to explore Cebu’s natural wonders. It’s just a short distance from the famous Oslob whale shark watching experience and the magnificent Kawasan Falls, making it an ideal base for adventure before returning to the tranquility of the island. Bluewater Sumilon isn’t simply a resort—it’s a destination where luxury, nature, and heartfelt Filipino hospitality come together beautifully. We arrived as guests and left with unforgettable memories. We can’t wait to return.

THE COMPLIMENTARY RESORT FERRY IS ABOUT TO SCAM YOU. It runs 8am-4pm. At 3:15 it takes passengers back to Sumilon, at 4pm it brings back the last complimentary hotel guests to shore. AFTER 2PM THEY CHARGE AN EXTRA 4500 pesos... as if they aren't still running back to the resort on their regular schedule. Someone ought to inform the owners of Bluewater. They pay for the complimentary ferry, then at the desk they charge you half the cost of a room just to get there. Beautiful views. Friendly staff. Infinity of bugs crawling on every floor after sunset. 2 star.
