City Garden Suites

My first stay at City Garden Suites Manila was a great experience. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and hassle free. Special thanks to Carlo, the Front Desk Manager, for his excellent assistance and warm hospitality, which made the entire transaction easy and seamless. The room rates are very reasonable and the hotel's location is highly accessible, making it a convenient choice for travelers. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend City Garden Suites Manila. Looking forward to staying here again! P.S. Love the breakfast buffet

My sister and I found ourselves visiting City Garden Suites because it is conveniently close to Intramuros. However, our experience was far from what we had hoped for, leading us to decide against checking in. While the hotel itself has a pleasant ambiance and the overall atmosphere seemed inviting, from the moment we walked in, Jona's (one of the front desk staffs) demeanor was off-putting. She appeared visibly angry and mean, which was not the first impression we were looking for during our stay. Instead of feeling welcomed, we felt an overwhelming sense of negative energy emanating from her. What struck us as particularly unprofessional was the way she interacted with her fellow coworkers. Rude remarks and a dismissive attitude were evident, creating an uncomfortable environment not just for guests but for her colleagues as well. It was disheartening to witness such behavior. On a more positive note, I must commend the other employees present during our visit. They were accommodating and seemed genuinely interested in helping guests. Unfortunately, despite the hotel’s decent ambiance and proximity to historical sites, we ultimately decided to leave rather than risk an unpleasant experience during our stay.

My family and I stayed at City Garden Suites, Manila from 12 to 14 June in a Deluxe Twin Room. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, particularly because of the hotel’s convenient location and good dining options. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its proximity to many of Manila’s popular sightseeing attractions. Several historical and cultural landmarks are easily accessible, making it a convenient base for exploring the city. We also enjoyed the food served at the hotel. The meals were tasty, and the dining experience was one of the highlights of our stay. The staff were courteous and helpful, and the hotel provided good value for travelers looking for accommodation in central Manila. However, there are a few areas where improvements could enhance the guest experience. The Deluxe Twin Room felt somewhat congested, especially for a family stay. The bathroom was quite small and could be more spacious and comfortable. We also noticed that there were no cloth racks or drying facilities in the room, which would be useful for guests on longer trips. Another challenge was the walking environment around the hotel. While the location is convenient for accessing attractions, the surrounding streets are not particularly pedestrian-friendly, which may affect guests who prefer to explore on foot. Overall, City Garden Suites offers a convenient location, good food, and friendly service. While the room size and some facilities could be improved, it remains a practical choice for travelers who want easy access to Manila’s major attractions.
