LPL Suites Greenbelt

This place was a disaster. The Aircon did not work, which unfortunately for me I found out to late. I came in off a long flight, turned it on and passed out after being up for 24 hours, woke up 4 hours later in a pool of sweat. Went to take a shower to cool off and could not get the water to turn on, just a trickle..... The room was smaller than my closets back home and looked like a 1920's run down flea trap from the prohibition days or something. I left and went and found another place. I explained my problems and they said next time they will take care of me for these issues..... next time? funny like there will ever be a next time.....

Unbelievably Huge room and also too many windows hugging the whole space. Very nice but not so nice if you wanna sleep in til late as there are no light reducing curtains. Beddings was too small for the mattress. Keep on sliding off when sleeping. Super Irritating.

LPL Suites is NOT a purpose built Hotel. It is a number of rooms spread over various floors of an old commercial office building. It is horrible and poor value compared to AIM Conference Centre Hotel, Copa Business Hotel, BSA or the Charter House. Rooms vary in size and quality are usually small, many have no windows, no real security and when I stayed the fire alarm in this old grotty building was disconnected. See photo of cut wires on the fire alarm. Apart from the location which is perfect opposite Greenbelt Mall there is nothing else to recommend this drab dump, its terrible stay at your own risk. It is a few years since I last stayed but walking past recently still looked a horrible place …… there are lots of better real hotels.
