Tune Hotels Ermita Manila

Stayed here from the end of October to the 3rd of July 2025. The staff was wonderful, the facilities and treatment by management upon exiting horrendous. Thank you Jovi and Jullfrey and George and Ronald et. al. for treating me, a wheelchair bound PWD 63 year old person with a disability suffering from als amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, so well. My room had cockroaches constantly. My room had a roll in shower which is a godsend for a pwd like me. Had to buy my own shower head from amazon for the wand feature. The water had too much chlorine constantly and so showering was problematic because of stinging eyes. The grab bars in the comfort room are all horizontal and so are adequate but one or two verticals should be added. The light switches and airCon power switches are too high by about 10 cm. There is no microwave or refrigerator or shelving or dressers or end tables or room phone. The lighting inside the room is exceedingly dim. The lobby is kept at a temperature way too low. The No Smoking signs at the entrance to the building were routinely ignored despite identification to management of the noxious and belligerent behavior. The pwd entrance to the left side of the small 4 car parking area was obstructed always by motorbikes. Why this is allowed to occur despite my protestations is a mystery. Hotel policy allowing motorbikes to park there instead of parking in the perfectly adequate 2nd floor covered parking garage effectively forced me to be a beggar when entering the building. In other words every blessed return home of mine was a wait while an outside porter fiddle-fudged the motorbikes this way and that way out of the clearly illegally blocked pwd entrance. This behavior of management made me feel highly unwelcome. The exterior parking lot also is in dire need of re-paving. Management illegally detained my caregiver 02 July 2025 until they extorted PhP15,000.00 from her for what they said was a television broken by me. They would not allow her to leave nor to call the Pulis until 15K was soaked from her hard earned wages even though we repeatedly explained to them that my tv watching is non-existent. Having never watched television in that room failed to make them realize that the tv must have been broken before my arrival. Shame on them for finding a way to line their own pockets at my expense. The excellent staff is the only redeeming feature that may prompt me to stay here again. daniel

Super happy with our stay at Red Planet Mabini. Went here with my friends and we really had a great time. The staff were all super nice and accommodating. Shoutout to the Duty Manager Mr. Tony, all the guards, and the FO team Ms. Alma and Ms. Liberty. They were all so friendly and helpful, made us feel welcome the whole time. The place was clean, comfy, and in a good location too. Sulit na sulit! Will definitely come back and recommend to others. Thanks, Red Planet team.

When staying in a budget hotel, the Red Planet is my preferred brand because its cheap but the room has the basic features to stay comfortably. We stayed one night n Red Plant Manila Mabini before our flight to Sydney. As usual, room is clean, the AC is working fine, nice shower room and linens are spotless. With the amount we paid for one night, I can say that the room size is enough to spend a night or more. The location of this hotel is in the city centre, walking distance to Robinson Manila and nearby restaurants like Aristocrat Roxas Blvd and some restaurant near Remedios/Malate/Mabini area. The only unpleasant thing we experience during our stay was that they have only one elevator working, the other one is under repair, so it was always challenging to go up and down as we are on the high floor.
